Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is a fighting game in which you can choose from Marvel Comics characters like Thor, Deadpool and Iron Man as well as Capcom video game characters like Chun Li, Morrigan and Frank West. Each player chooses a team of three characters and takes them into battle either against the computer or a human opponent.
Plan the perfect strategy
The challenge in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 starts even before the fight begins. Each character has the usual fighting game selection of attacks and special moves, but also an assist ability that you can invoke even when the character isn't on screen. Finding the right combination of attacks and assists takes some experimentation, but the right balance can be the key to victory. Once the fight starts, you'll play one character after the other, using your attacks to damage your opponent until all three enemy characters are defeated. Over the course of the game, you'll build up X-Factor, a special energy meter that allows you to unleash additional power late in the round. Gameplay is fast and furious, and at high levels attack combos can go on for almost the whole round.
